to the earthly realm. In other words, these instruments 

were used of God in Christ being brought to the Cross physically,
 
but were not involved at all in the Lord Jesus' soul being

 "taught" obedience. These means were shadows and types of the
 
eternal Law and Will of God being executed upon the Lamb.
